Working on my PhD thesis with the name “Diagnostic improvements in cardiovascular magnetic resonance T1 mapping and flow quantification”. Studies focusing on the improvement of T1 maps by optimizing signals and reducing measurements errors, and investigating correction methods for better cardiac diagnostics.
Education
My upcoming study concentrates on blood flow in the heart during hyperemia, imaged with CMR. It is a prospective study with healthy volunteers. Meanwhile I´m taking PhD courses and finishing my Medical Degree.
”Ubi pus, ibi evacua”. During medical school you learn the basics, about the body and how it functions. You go on to learing about diseases and what happens patophysiologically. Then you go out in to the real world and try tro translate everything you've learnt onto the reality. It’s a struggle that you continue for the rest of your life as a doctor. Quotes only get you so far.
